The limited storage capacity of MP3 players or other mobile multimedia devices always prevents us from taking that one extra song with us. In situations like this, you can use MP3Resizer to reduce the size of your MP3 files. The operation is straightforward and easy and the best part is that you won't notice a significant quality loss in your compressed files.

Loading one or more MP3 files on the application's user interface and clicking a button is sufficient to start compressing the files. Additionally, you can set the application to use a higher or lower compression level and join stereo channels if they are available. The output files can be saved in the same folder as the originals or in a location of your choice, with or without their original folders structure.

MP3Resizer allows you to import one or more files selectively, but you can also import entire folders at once. Once imported, the audio files will show up in a list, along with their full paths. The files are also displayed with their original and predicted sizes. If you have more than one file in the list, you can view the total figures, for original and new sizes, in the lower right area of the interface. You will notice a significant file size reduction, regardless of how many files you import. A reduction to about half of the original size is to be expected.
